Bluntisham was laid out differently in the early 1900’s and the Royal Oak was on the corner of what is now Sayers Court, located in the centre of the village, where Block Hill meets East Street. The pub is no longer there and there are no records of when it was demolished. It was however a going concern for well over 100 years.
